Livin' my life.

Last sleepout in the commons tomorrow.
The last sleepout is tomorrow and unfortunately I came down with a cold, but I’m going to do my best to get there and sleepout! I’m excited, hopefully our campaign will be brought up in the UN Climate Conference on Monday. Massachusetts needs to step up and lead this energy shift from dirty sources to 100% clean energy. This is all possible it’s just a matter of whether or not it gets approved b Governor Patrick. Representative Brownsberger will file our bill on Monday :) ! I can’t wait for the spring campaign!
Climate Gate Controversy. Completely taken out of context by the media and republicans/economists who only care about making profit. Love Ed Begley Jr.
I can’t even describe how good it feels to be a part of this grassroots—student led campaign. So far we have 12.5% of MA legislature to sign our bill. Leaders of the campaign met with Governor Patrick and he seemed interested. I can’t discuss the meeting in full context because it’s supposed to be kept private until a final decision is reached. Our last sleepout is on Sunday. We will hopefully have Governor Patrick’s decision by then (we are supposed to find out today). Standing up for something you believe in by means of peaceful direct action is so liberating. It’s one of the best feelings ever to know that we’re directly making a change.
March for Climate
So I did the March for Climate yesterday, from MIT to the Commons. The energy I felt from the two hundred people chanting through Boston was unbelievable! I still have the chants stuck in my head!
Sarah Palin (via karadoucette)
HAHAHAHAHAHA
And we’ll pray that they turn into seeds, to roots and then grass
It’d be all right, it’s all right, it’d be easier that way
Or if the sky opened up and started pouring rain
Like it knew it was time to start things over again
It’d be all right, it’s all right, it’d be easier that way.
